Pothoven

Harold Pothoven co-founded the Local Group with Remko van Roekel in 2010. He is a board member of Local Corporate Solutions, Local Management, and Local Bookkeeping.

Focus

Harold oversees the activities of Local Corporate Solutions, and you can contact him with any questions regarding the group’s services. He and his fellow board members are responsible for defining the Local Group’s strategic direction.

Education

Harold obtained a Master’s degree in Tax Law from the University of Tilburg and a degree in Tax Economics from the HES Amsterdam School of Business.

Experience

Since 1999, he has worked as an international tax advisor at Baker & McKenzie and Ernst & Young, supporting clients with global tax strategies and corporate frameworks. His leadership roles within corporate service providers further enhanced his experience, as he oversaw tax-related services, compliance, and corporate governance for multinational clients.
